The Broadwell Agency is one hands down, one of the BEST Nationwide Insurance agencies in the Hampton Roads area. They are fast, efficient and military friendly. I’m currently stationed overseas and am at ease knowing that my property in Hampton is covered. I worked with Alex Olague, who responded promptly to my emails which is amazing due to the time difference here in Japan.

I started to blow off a call from Nationwide because I thought NO ONE could beat USAA prices. I talked to Tanis (The Owner) she said hey, give us a chance so, I told her My situation (this was before the accident), she was already covering my homeowner’s policy because when I bought my house USAA was not covering houses in the area due to several hurricanes. Anyway, Tanis quoted me a price that blew USAA out of the water. Then helped me with the USAA problem. I am not gonna bash USAA Just because I was with them for 22 yrs and they denied me on my 4th claim ever just because I thought I hit a deer they said it was a branch (5k in repairs). At 75 mph at night in traffic when you have a split-second to see, evaluate and react. hasta la vista USAA.

Once my previous auto/home insurance kept creeping up with costs, I decided to check around with other insurance companies. I got the name of this company through a friend and received quotes very quickly for auto/home. They made the transition pretty seamless and answered all questions completely. I can also call them directly and get a response either during that phone call or they get back with me right away. My previous company went national and I wasn’t able to speak to a “human” locally which I did not like.
