Tanis Broadwell, President, and owner of Broadwell Insurance Group started her insurance career in 1989 working as an associate agent. In 2003, she opened her own exclusive Nationwide Insurance Agency and on July 1, 2020, The Broadwell Agency became fully independent –offering insurance with multiple carriers. She re-branded her agency as Broadwell Insurance Group in July 2022. Tanis has extensive experience in commercial and personal lines of insurance and is focused on helping business owners better manage their insurance programs.
She has served on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula (BGCVP) since 2004 and continues to support several fundraising events every year for this non-profit organization serving our communities youth.
Tanis resides with Dave Hannum in York County, and she enjoys raising a small garden, working out occasional golfing, and anything that involves horses or sandy beaches.
